One of my resolutions for 2012 is to get fit. I am not obese or anything like that but given the amount of food I ingest every day, as evidenced by the things I write on here, I realised that I need to get moving before my ballooning worsens. My goal is not to look like Miranda Kerr. Rather, the goals are to:

  • have a healthier lifestyle
  • feel healthier
  • increase stamina and strength
  • make my clothes fit better

This is a journey I have given up on countless times because I lack the motivation. Treadmills and bench presses are clearly not my friends while sweets are like my sisters but I am determined to change that for the incoming year by using the great outdoors. Yes, I was a gym member before but I’ve quit just recently in favour of getting fit in nature.

I am adding this bit onto my blog as a reminder and motivation. Something like a fitness diary, if you will. I need to have achieve the goals above by the time my cousin gets married at year end.
